| About Our Products
Our candles are created with EcoSoya™ wax of pure, 100% natural soybeans, which are then enhanced with carefully selected botanical oils. Unlike paraffin, EcoSoya™ waxes are non-petroleum renewable resources, promoting the growth and care of our environment while burning crisp and clean with a gentle natural glow.
We use non-lead wicks, and use all cotton or coreless wicks so the candle will not smoke while it is lit. Our candles do not produce the soot typical of most candles so they can burn cleanly for hours.
We use scents which give off the best fragrance without overpowering a room. For more fragrance, we suggest you place candles at different corners of the room. We add colors to our candles which compliment the fragrance. Colors may vary in intensity depending on the fragrance.
Important Safety Instructions
Failure to follow instructions could result in fire hazard or injury. Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable materials. Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/8” to ensure even burning and prevent flame from becoming too large. Burn candles only on stable heat resistant surface for not more than 4 hours at a time. Keep out of drafts. Discontinue use when only ½” of wax remains in bottom. Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
About Us
Nancy and Michael Bihler are the owners of Claret Wood Designs, of which Pleasanton Candle Co is a part. Our goal is to provide a high quality product at a reasonable price. We use all-natural soy wax because of our experience in burning other kinds of waxes and wanted to avoid having the soot residue typical of many commercially available candles. We use scents which give the most fragrance without being overpowering and match the color to the fragrance as best as possible. |
